Golf Podcast Searches Are Spiking Right Now | Hawaii Golf Podcast

The timing of this relaunch update is the point: Brett Smith of Golf Podcasts USA says the search term "golf podcast" has moved from years of quiet interest into a breakout moment. In the Google Trends view he reviewed, searches had been mostly flat for most of the previous five years before a major spike pushed them to an all-time peak.

For Hawaii, that makes this more than a general network announcement. Brett frames the update around warm-weather golf demand and the season ahead, not a winding-down calendar. The first pilot push is going to Arizona, Florida and Texas because their peak season is about to start, with the broader relaunch planned for 2027 around the PGA Show.

Brett also explains why Golf Podcasts USA was built in the first place. He started the network in November 2025 because he saw this interest coming; by this August 2026 update, the trend line is exactly where he hoped it would be. The network now has content for all 50 states, giving listeners a local show to find when they search their state alongside the words "golf podcast."

The operational piece matters, too. Golf Podcasts USA is deploying an in-house publishing tool designed to upload content to every platform the network uses in one click. Brett says the goal is to make the work of talking, uploading and distributing easier at scale, so the relaunch can move from a network idea into a repeatable publishing system.
