LeBron James is playing golf, and yeah, that matters way beyond whatever number he writes on a scorecard. In this episode, Brett Smith digs into why LeBron James Golf has suddenly become a real golf story: the YouTube channel, the millions of views, Stephen Curry welcoming him to the game on Instagram, and the PGA TOUR partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation connected to Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Brett also gives the honest golf eye test. LeBron's swing looks like a confident beginner move: compact, athletic, not a ton of coil yet. And Bronny James? Brett says Bronny's move already looks cleaner, which only makes the whole thing more fun. The bigger point for Palm Springs golf is simple: when someone like LeBron walks through golf's front door, a whole new audience starts looking at tee times, lessons, range sessions, and local courses. That is good for the game.
